We will learn different technologies of Georgian wine-making. Within the tour, you will taste 30 types of Georgian wine in 7 various wineries. The wine tour includes a visit to Chateau Mukhrani, which ranks 58th among the 100 best vineyards worldwide. Besides vineyards, we will visit several cultural places that are truly worth seeing. Every day we will have epic evenings of eating – we'll explore the delicious roots of cuisine that developed over centuries of Georgia.

Breakfast at the hotel. Your journey begins by visiting the sites of the old capital of Georgia: Mtskheta, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century), and Jvari Monastery (6th century). Both are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Then, you will have a free wine tour in Chateau Mukhrani winery founded in 1878 by the Prince of Mukhrani, heir of the royal family of Georgia. You will see the royal palace of Ivan Mukhranbatoni, garden, old cellar, stroll through vineyards, and visit the ultra-modern winery. You will have an opportunity to taste the best types of Georgian wine. After, you will see a small boutique, Iago’s Wine, producing ,,Qvevri'' wines from organic vineyards. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.


Today we take the road to the Kakheti region. Our first stop will be at the Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking in Patardzeuli, where you will do a wine degustation. Then you will visit the lovely city of Sighnaghi. The most romantic city of Georgia is famous for its old Georgian architectural style, amazing views of Alazani Valley, and the longest castle wall in Georgia. You will have a short excursion in Sighnaghi. Your next stop will be St. Nino Monastery in Bodbe. This monastery is an important holy place as it is where Saint Nino, who brought Christianity to Georgia in the 4th Century, is buried. Next, you will visit the Numisi Wine Cellar in Velistsikhe, built with the style of ancient classical architecture with white river stones and bricks. The cellar introduces excellent arched wine storage, with an old limestone wine presser (Satsnakheli) & 33 clay pitchers (Qvevri) buried in the ground. After visiting Numisi Wine Cellar, we will drive to Kvareli and explore Tunnel ‘’Khareba’’ Winery, where you will taste different types of wine (including ‘’Qvevri’’ wine). After tasting the wines, we will have dinner in the Khareba winery restaurant. Overnight in Kvareli.
Breakfast at the hotel. We start our trip from Nekresi monastery which is one of the largest monastery complexes in the Kakheti region. It was built by St. Abibo Nekreseli, one of the famous thirteen Syrian fathers. We will have a chance to see the production of Georgian Traditional “Qvevri”, as well as to visit ,,Shilda Winery'', where wine is produced according to classical and traditional methods. ,,Shilda Winery'' is equipped with modern Italian and French equipment, which makes it possible to control the wine quality at any stage of its making. The Wine Company also uses 8000 years of experience, that Georgia gained in the winemaking process. Our next wine degustation will be at The ‘’Twins Wine Cellar’’ in Napareuli village. Then we will go to Telavi and visit Alaverdi Cathedral, one of the most important medieval monuments of Georgia. It was built at the beginning of the 11th century and was one of the tallest buildings of its time. Overnight in Tbilisi.
